San Chung: The participants of a recent football coaching course in Chinese Taipei have been praised by their instructor for their good football skills and attitude to learn.
Eighteen participants aged between 21 and 45 attended the AFC ‘C’ Football Coaching Certificate Course on 7-19 August 2012 conducted at the San Chung High School.
Chinese Taipei Football Association President Lu Kun-shan, during a ceremony, closed the course which covered both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching, one of the most important areas of football development.
“The participants have demonstrated fair football skills and good learning attitudes and have worked as a team,” said the course instructor Chiu Chun-ming of Hong Kong.
“These were shown in all areas especially the group discussion sessions.”
After successfully gaining the ‘C’ Licence, coaches have a chance to progress to higher qualifications such as the ‘B’ and then ‘A’ Licences, after which they can opt to undergo further training for the highest professional football certification, the Pro Diploma.
